My name is Cecilia Le Poer Power and I would like to welcome you to The Hope Garden, a Sanctuary of Hope, Kindness and Positive Intention. Here, my work as a Professional Singer (Musician and Composer) interweaves with my work tending to the Spiritual Care of others, especially for those in times of difficulty and at the end of life.

I am currently part of the Spiritual Care/Chaplaincy team at my local hospital (The Royal United Hospital, Bath), caring for inpatients in several wards. I weave music into this pastoral and spiritual support whenever it’s appropriate.

There is something quite mysterious about our ability to create music and our universal inclination towards it. Music has the power to unite, uplift, comfort and soothe. Research in recent years has highlighted the many benefits singing and music has for our wellbeing.

For more information about what I am able to offer, please see below. Warmest thanks, Cecilia x

The Hope Garden is the bespoke professional music service created by singer/musician/composer Cecilia Le Poer Power. Cecilia is based in the Bath area, but serves nationally and internationally too.

In creating The Hope Garden, it was Cecilia's wish to actively bring music into communities where it may be of great benefit and in particular the hospice community, caring for both children and adults. Sharing songs and music making as a means of theraputic care, lies at the heart of The Hope Garden.

Cecilia currently runs a hugely popular grant-awarded singing group at Dorothy House Hospice and makes singing a great source of relaxation, community togetherness, support and fun. She is experienced working with adults and children with life-limiting conditions, the bereaved and also those living with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder).

Performing at Ceremonies Music is such a positive way of bringing people together in a shared moment and has the power to uplift or move an entire congregation. It is Cecilia's wish to help to create a more personal and intimate kind of ceremony or occasion through music.

'I always try to bring something unique and original to my performances - For me it's vital that music is performed from an authentic place within, in order to make that magical connection with the listener'...
